Page 6 of 7...Janet's Family Tree I have put together many thoughts, memories but wanted to add a little History before I end this story...... My Mother's name was LaVerne Zwiefelhofer Hepfler, daugher of Edward Zwiefelhofer and Wilhemenia Zahish Boehm Zwiefelhofer Brother, Norman Zwiefelhofer Sister, Janet Zwiefelhofer Meier My Father's name was Sylvester Hepfler, son of Louis Hepfler & Mother Agnes Schneider. There were 11 members of the Hepfler family Louis, Edward, Leo, John, Joseph and George Hepfler (killed in WW2) gunner for Archerfish submarine. Sisters, Rose Hepfler Zwiefelhofer, Mary Hepfler Marek, Catherine Hepfler Lindsley, and Helen Hepfler Gehring. Before I end this story, I would like to add one of my favorite poems: May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. and until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand. My love to you.
